Sonal Chauhan, the latest addition to Venkatesh, Varun Tej's comic caper F3

The actress has now joined the film's team in the ongoing schedule that is being shot in Hyderabad

F3, the sequel to the 2018 Sankranti hit F2:Fun and Frustration, directed by Anil Ravipudi and featuring Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, Mehreen Pirzada in lead roles, is fast nearing completion. The film, produced by Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, is currently being shot at Hyderabad. F3 has a power-packed lineup, comprising a fine bunch of young talents and veteran actors, with Sunil and Ali being the new additions for the sequel. Well, the makers have now also roped in Sonal Chauhan in the lead cast. She has already joined the F3 team in Hyderabad and has commenced shooting her portions.

The actress posted an image from the film's set, where she's seen in a maroon sari, and shared her excitement on working in F3 through her Twitter handle. "Sooo happy to be a part of this mad roller coaster, F3. Thank you @anilravipudi #DilRaju sir and #sirish sir for making me a part of this Fun Family @venkymama @iamvaruntej @tamannahspeaks @mehreenpirzada. Super excited #F3movie," she posted. In response, the director of the film replied, "Welcome to #F3 family Sonal. We're also happy to have you. Let's rock with extra fun."

With the ongoing, extensive schedule, a significant part of F3's filming is expected to be completed. Several key sequences from the film are being shot at Falaknuma Palace. Actors Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi, Annapurnamma, Y Vijaya and Pragathi Suresh, will also continue their journey from F2 to F3. While F2 dealt with the protagonists' issues with their marriages, F3 supposedly revolves around a financial problem faced by the characters. The makers, who shared a glimpse of the film for Dussehra, are yet to lock a release date.

Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes for the film, while Sai Sriram is cranking the camera. F3 is being edited by Tammiraju. Adi Narayana and Nara Praveen are the additional screenplay writers for the project, whose script coordinator is S Krishna.
