Sonakshi Sinha will be starring in Amazon Prime Video series titled Fallen.
Sonakshi Sinha is the latest Bollywood actor to join the bandwagon of making her OTT debut. The actor will be seen playing the lead role in the Amazon Prime Video series titled Fallen. In the web series, Sonakshi plays the role of a cop and the first look was unveiled during International Women's Day this year. Now, during an interaction, the actor was asked about her OTT debut and if she had any inhibitions before venturing into it.
On being quizzed about what made her say yes to the series, Sonakshi told Filmfare it was offered to her way before the coronavirus pandemic and it resonated with her immediately. She also said, "I was blown away by the subject, by my character and I just went for it."
Sharing her excitement to work with Reema Kagti and Excel Entertainment, the Dabangg actor also stated, "I’ve never worked with them, I love the kind of cinema they do. So, it was really a no-brainer for me. I wanted to work with this team and the script was amazing."
Sonakshi added that she had no reason to say no to the project.
Calling shooting for web series as making three movies, the actor added, "It’s a different ball game altogether. Like a series is usually directed by more than one director. So, we had two directors Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi."
Talking about working with two different directors, one for the day shoot and another for the night schedule, Sonakshi went on to say, "It’s so interesting to work with one director who has a completely different style and in the evening you’re working with another director who is drastically opposite from that."
The shoot of Fallen has been happening in full swing and Sonakshi shared several BTS moments on her Instagram page. The streaming date of the web series is yet to be announced.
