Son of Sardaar 2 has gone on floors in The UK. Ajay Devgn is back with the sequel of his comedy film, originally starring Sonakshi Sinha. Son of Sardaar 2 sees Mrunal Thakur and Chunky Pandey in lead roles opposite him. As the movie went on floors, every actor portrayed a different mood. Watch it here...

Ajay Devgn seeks blessings

Ajay Devgn, who is the actor as well as producer for Son Of Sardaar 2, sought blessings from a gurudwara. The Granthi was the one to announce that Son of Sardaar 2 has gone on floors, while offering blessings to Ajay on behalf of Guru Nanak saheb.

Ajay's son Yug was the one behind the clapperboard as soon as the first scene for Son of Sardaar 2 was shot. Ajay returned in his original character, a goofy man with a turban tied over his head.

Mrunal Thakur plays dhol

Decked in pink and golden Indian attire, Mrunal Thakur started playing dhol. She vibed to it as Mrunal also started doing bhangra to the tunes. She is the lead in this film, while Sonakshi Sinha was the main actress in the original movie.

Chunky Pandey dances with joy

Chunky Pandey could not stop dancing as he joined the film. He was seen celebrating with the crew on day 1 of Son of Sardaar 2 shooting.

Reportedly, Ravi Kishan has replaced Sanjay Dutt from Son of Sardaar. Dutt reportedly was not granted a visa owing to his criminal case, and thus, Kishan had to step in.

More from day 1

In the video posted, one can see direction from top camera angles, a lot of cars involved (thus taking you back to Ranbir Kapoor's Animal). Interestingly, in one shot, Ajay walks out of a cemetery. This could hint that there is a death which will affect him massively in the film.

Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Son of Sardaar 2 will be shot extensively in The UK, post which the film’s shooting will take place in India. Son of Sardaar sequel comes more than a decade later, for the original movie had released back in 2012.
