Vinay Forrt is one of the most promising actors of contemporary Malayalam cinema. It is pretty interesting news that he is gearing up for a new venture titled Somante Kridaav. Helmed by Rohit Narayanan, the movie also stars Kakshi Amminippilla fame Fara Shibla. According to the latest reports, the movie has started rolling recently in a village called Veliyanad in Alappuzha.
The actor took the news to Instagram and shared a poster. Featuring himself, the poster shows him in the midst of beautiful greenery. Vinay is featured as a common village man in the animated poster, and it is safe to assume that the movie will be set in the backdrop of a village. If the reports are to be believed, Vinay will be playing an agriculture officer in the movie. “Our next Rohith Narayanan’s SOMANTE KRIDAAV”, the actor wrote in his caption.
Reports also suggest that over 16 village residents have been selected and trained to play local characters in the movie. The cast will also include actors like Jayan Cherthala, Manu Joseph, Niyas Narmmakala, and Seema G Nair. The movie is jointly backed by Mithin Kuruvila’s Master Works Studios and Raju Mallyath’s Ragam Movies.
Sujith Purushothaman, who is popular for handling cameras in movies like Unda and Super Sharanya, is the DOP of Somante Kridaav. Dialogues and screenplay are penned by Ranjith K Haridas, while the music is by O S Jayahari.
Meanwhile, Vinay Forrt was last seen in the hit Fahadh Faasil starrer Malik, Lijo Jose Pellissery directorial Churuli and Nivin Pauly starrer Kanakam Kamini Kalaham. He also has the upcoming project Bermuda in the pipeline, which is currently filming.
