Sobhita Dhulipala reviews Kunal Kemmu's Madgaon Express; says 'the funniest film I've seen in...'

Sobhita Dhulipala recently watched Kunal Kemmu's directorial venture Madgaon Express. Here's what the actress wrote on her Instagram stories!

Madgaon Express has opened to positive responses from audiences, critics as well as Bollywood celebrities. Actress Sobhita Dhulipala recently watched the film, which marked Kunal Kemmu's directorial debut. The film, starring Divyenndu, Avinash Tiwary, and Pratik Gandhi, hit the silver screen on March 22, 2024. After watching Madgaon Express on the big screen, Sobhita had only good words to pen for the comedy film.

Sobhita Dhulipala took to her Instagram stories and shared her review of Kunal Kemmu's Madgaon Express, also featuring Nora Fatehi. The actress stated that Madgaon Express 'blew her mind'. She added, "The funniest film I've seen in so long! Hilarious moments, mad mad trip (sic)." Dhulipala seemed impressed by Kunal Kemmu's direction as well.

She further lauded the performances of Pratik, Avinash, and Divyenndu by terming them 'legendary'. The actress also appreciated Nora Fatehi's performance in the comic caper. Overall, Sobhita laughed out loud while watching the film on the 70mm screen.

Madgaon Express box office collection

Meanwhile, after two days of the theatrical run, Madgaon Express' box office collection stands at Rs 4.35 crore. However, trade analyst Taran Adarsh has said that the real test of Madgaon Express begins today. Since there is no buy one get one offer today (Sunday) and on Holi (March 25), it remains to be seen if the Kunal Kemmu directorial continues to fare well at the box office.

Where to watch Madgaon Express on OTT?

After Madgaon Express' theatrical run ends, the film will have a digital release. It has been confirmed that the film will drop on Amazon Prime Video. However, the makers haven't shared the OTT premiere date of the movie yet. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment, Madgaon Express clashed with Randeep Hooda's Swatantrya Veer Savarkar at the box office.
