Snack Shack theatrical release date – Catch the ‘91 fun summer tale of friendship, entrepreneurship, and budding love

Snack Shack is MRC Film & T-Street's upcoming film, after respective hit projects like Saltburn, Persuasion, Knives Out, & Three-Body Problem. The film will enjoy a theatrical release this Spring.

Snack Shack is Adam Carter Rehmeir of Dinner in America fame’s latest feature venture. A brainchild of Saltburn fame MRC Film and Knives Out fame T-Street, the film was shot in Nebraska and is set in 1991. Produced by Paperclips Ltd. the coming-of-age film is sure to take us all back to that one iconic summer vacation that has remained memorable for all the right reasons.

The film will enjoy a theatrical release on March 15, 2024. Snack Shack also dropped its trailer on February 15 and is based on Rehmeir’s own childhood experience of running the concession stand at his swimming pool one summer. As the official plot synopsis suggests, after gambling on dog races and selling home-brewed beer goes down the drain, the leading bestie duo begin to resort to their entrepreneurial instincts and set up shop.

The trailer follows the misadventures and immature decisions of best friend duo AJ and Moose as they embark on unsupervised road trips and bid on City council auctions secretly, getting into all kinds of trouble that are not severe, but worrying for any parent. Dreaming of making it big and being filthy rich, things take an unexpected turn when they meet Brooke, a suave and sexy new lifeguard at the swimming pool who tests their big summer plans and friendship.

Snack Shack’s trailer shows the lackadaisical and idealistic approach of AJ and Moose, being expert procrastinators despite having ambitious inclinations. The trailer shows them silently bidding and winning the City Council auction for the Swimming Pool Snack Shack, that has lain unoccupied and vandalized on the inside for quite some time.
