The story revolves around India's unforgiving attack on the Sargodha airbase of Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965, which marked India's first airstrike. The film is headlined by Akshay Kumar. Joining him would be Veer Pahariya, who is making his big Bollywood debut. Apart from them, the film also stars talented actors Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan in pivotal roles. Akshay will be seen essaying the role of Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja while Veer will play Squadron Leader A B Devayya's character. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, Sky Force is backed by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Amar Kaushik.

Reportedly, the film has been given a UA 13+ rating by the CBFC. The runtime of Sky Force has also been revealed, and surprisingly, it's 125 minutes (2 hours and 5 minutes). If this turns out to be true, it might potentially be the shortest Akshay Kumar movie in years.
