Sky Force: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh lauds team for their efforts after special screening; Akshay Kumar calls it 'absolute honour'

On January 21, ahead of Sky Force's release, the makers hosted a special screening for Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and others in Delhi.

Akshay Kumar is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, Sky Force. It also features Veer Pahariya, who is set to make his big Bollywood debut. Apart from them, the Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur directorial also stars Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan in key roles. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh pens a note for Sky Force team

Rajnath Singh shared pictures from the screening on his X (formerly Twitter) handle. He was seen praising the team for their efforts. The pictures feature Akshay Kumar, Dinesh Vijan, and Veer Pahariya. Along with them, he wrote, "Joined CDS and three service chiefs at the special screening of ‘Sky Force’. The film narrates the story of Indian Air Force’s bravery, courage and sacrifice during the 1965 War. I laud the makers of the film for their efforts."

Akshay was quick to thank the minister and called it an 'absolute honor'. He replied, "Thank you, Sir. An absolute honour for me and the team of Skyforce that you, the CDS and the three service chiefs took out time to watch and bless our film. We’ve made it with a lot of gratitude and pride for the courage of our armed forces." Have a look:

The Sky Force team also hosted a special screening for NCC cadets in Delhi.

The trailer was launched recently and it received a good response from netizens. As the film releases during Republic Day week, it will surely evoke a sense of patriotism with its hard-hitting content. It is slated to hit the big screens on January 24, 2025.
