Sky Force announcement: Akshay Kumar stars in the tale of India’s first and deadliest air strike

Veer Pahariya also features in the upcoming epic war drama as his acting debut.

Sky Force is the upcoming patriotic drama film starring Akshay Kumar. Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapur are set to co-direct the ambitious project, which is based on an untold and true story of India’s first and deadliest air strike. On the occasion of Gandhi-Sashtri Jayanti, the Bollywood actor announced his anticipated movie on social media.

Akshay took to his official Instagram handle and dropped an announcement video that features an archive video featuring the Former Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri. The latest promo begins with a voice note from Pakistan's former President, Mohammad Ayub Khan, who delivers a speech against our country during the 1965 India-Pakistan War. Meanwhile, the Former PMOI enters the montage and says that no one can suppress our country by the threats of storm bombs and being the government of India there is no other choice but to must answer weapons with weapons.

The Khiladi actor shared the latest announcement video with a special caption that reads, "आज गांधी-शास्त्री जयंती के दिन सारा देश कह रहा है - जय जवान, जय किसान, जय विज्ञान, जय अनुसंधान. No better day than today to announce the incredible story of #SkyForce: Our untold story of India’s first and deadliest airstrike. Give it love, please. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat. (Sic)."

Makers and cast of Sky Force

The upcoming epic war drama is Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Jio Studios and Maddock Films, while Amar Kaushik serves as the creative producer. Sky Force, which also stars Veer Pahariya in his acting debut, is slated to release on October 2, 2024.
