Skanda was quite a special film in the career of Ram Pothineni as he teamed up with director Boyapati Sreenu, who is known to be a pro when it comes to action films. The action drama is now streaming on Hotstar and is being trolled brutally on social media.

Fans on social media are posting screenshots of a few action sequences and are trolling Boyapati Sreenu for showcasing them in such an over-the-top manner. The scene for which he is being trolled the most is the one where the hero Ram lands at a CM’s house and kidnaps his daughter just like that.

On the other hand, the trolling has reached Ram and he has responded through a strong message. "Liking or disliking the content is totally the audience choice. I have & will continue to Respect Your Opinions" says Ram Pothineni.

Scenes in all Boyapati films are filled with material for trolls but Skanda has one to the next level. A few others are talking about the editing errors such as a dead person in the first scene reappearing in the later sequence.

In a way, Skanda is getting even more negative feedback after the film has started streaming on Hotstar. The action drama was made on a massive budget and released on September 28, 2023, and did not fare well at the box office. Well, it is getting a lot of traction on OTT.
