The film marks Sivakarthikeyan's maiden collaboration with Rajkumar Periyasamy and Kamal Haasan
The second schedule of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film, which is tentatively being referred to as SK 21, has begun in Chennai. The film's lead actors Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi have joined the sets and shoot is on in full swing. We hear that at least 60 per cent of the film's shoot has been wrapped up and that team is likely to complete the portions by December.
Shoot began in Kashmir
The first schedule of the film was canned in Kashmir, which lasted almost two months. The film's director Rajkumar Periyasamy, who is celebrating his birthday today, had then announced the news, by dropping BTS pictures. In the pictures, the entire cast and crew were smeared in colours, indicating that they were playing Holi. Rajkumar had then thanked the Indian army and cops for their support in shooting the film without any trouble.

Maiden collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi
This is the maiden venture between Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi and Rajkumar Periasamay. GV Prakash Kumar, who is scoring the music for the film, had hinted in a recent interview that SK 21 was a war film and that it is being made on a grand scale. Sivakarthikeyan is playing an Army man for the first time in his career. The film is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International.
