Venkat Prabhu's Maanaadu which was announced as a Deepavali release on November 4, later postponed its theatrical release to November 25. In a statement released by the makers earlier, they said the decision was taken keeping in mind the business prospects of the project which is made on a nigh budget.

Produced by Suresh Kamatchi, the film which has Silambarasan playing the lead, features SJ Suryah, SA Chandrasekhar, Karunakaran and Premgi among others in key roles while Kalyani Priyadarshan will be seen essaying the female lead. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes music for the movie which has editing by Praveen KL.

SJ Suryah plays a cop in the movie who's after the mysterious character essayed by Silambarasan. His dialogue 'vandhan suttan sethaan repeatu' from the film's trailer is already popular which is used my meme creators often on social media platforms. Now, he has come up with an update which has made fans of Silambarasan and movie buffs excited like never before.

He took to Twitter to inform that he has completed eight days of dubbing work for the movie in five days and that is exhausted to the core. Suryah added that he needs at least 10 days of rest, but he's elated at the way the movie has shaped up.

What made his tweet go viral is the wording towards its end. Suryah said that after watching the output, he felt that the real Deepavali is on November 25. The tweet read, "I almost covered 8 days dubbing work of my part for “MAANAADU”, in 5 days. My naadi, narambu, neck, back, spine and throat are gone& begging me to give minimum10days rest (heavy work-valli pinnudhu). BUTafter seeing the out-put , tell U all one thing DIWALI NOV25TH THANDA (sic)." The movie, which was earlier expected to take on Rajinikanth's Annaatthe will now take on Sasikumar's Kombu Vacha Singamda which will hit the screens on November 26.
