Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani to collaborate on a biopic
Bollywood star Aamir Khan is set to reunite with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani for a new feature film. The duo previously worked together in blockbuster hits such as 3 Idiots and PK, and their latest project will be a biopic. Further details regarding the film have been kept under wraps, and production is set to commence once Hirani wraps filming for Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal. Samantha Ruth Prabhu to take a sabbatical from acting after ‘Citadel’
It was recently reported that the Prime Video series Citadel, starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, is a $250 million flop. However, the Indian remake of the series is ahead with its production with Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles. It has now been revealed by a news portal that Samantha Ruth Prabhu will take a sabbatical from acting once the filming is completed for Citadel: India. The actress is also currently working on the film Kushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda.
‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’ sell satellite and digital rights for a whopping ₹450 crores
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has two major releases on the horizon – the Atlee film Jawan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Both films are expected to make a significant impact at the box office. A new report has revealed that the digital, satellite, and music rights of both films have been sold for more than ₹450 crores. The films are produced by Khan’s banner Red Chillies Entertainment.

The Hindi remake of The Night Manager has garnered a huge fan following since it premiered on Disney+ Hotstar earlier this year. The second season of the spy thriller, starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor, and Sobhita Dhulipala, returned for its second season on June 30th and has been well-received by fans and critics alike. According to news reports, the creators already have potential spin offs lined up to explore the backstories of its main characters, Shaan, Shelly, and Kaveri. Netflix’s ‘Sex Education’ to conclude with Season 4
The hit Netflix British teen comedy, Sex Education is set to return for a fourth season on September 23rd this year. It was revealed earlier that two of its lead stars Emma Mackey and Ncuti Gatwa are leaving the show by the end of Season 4. Mackey is set to star in the highly-anticipated film Barbie while Gatwa has been cast as the new Doctor Who. It has now been revealed that the series will not be returning for a fifth season. Creator Laurie Nunn shared an emotional letter to the fans explaining why it is the right time to conclude the stories of Otis, Maeve, and Eric. The series stars Asa Butterfield in the lead as Otis, along with Mackey as Maeve, and Gatwa as Eric. Television legend and former ‘X-Files’ star Gillan Anderson plays a prominent role in the series as Otis’ mother, while Connor Swindells, Mimi Keene, Aimee Lou Wood, and Bridgeton star Simone Ashley essay other pivotal roles.
Tom Cruise plans to play Ethan Hunt and lead the ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise till his 80s
Hollywood legend Harrison Ford has returned as Indiana Jones for the fifth instalment of the franchise, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, at the age of 80. Fellow action star Tom Cruise has now revealed that he would like to emulate Ford and continue starring in Mission: Impossible films into his 80s. The 61-year-old star admitted that he has another 20 years to catch up with Ford. Cruise’s death-defying stunts will be on show once again when Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One hit theaters on July 12th next week.
Brad Pitt’s Formula One film announces title
The highly-anticipated Apple TV production about Formula One starring Brad Pitt has finally revealed its title. The film is helmed by Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski and is titled Apex. The filming for the project is scheduled to take place at this week’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Lead star Brad Pitt was pictured at the paddocks this week with the F1 teams, and he will have his own garage at the iconic venue for the film’s production. The film’s plot revolves around a veteran racer who is brought back from retirement to help a rookie driver. Snowfall star Damson Idris will essay the role of the young driver, and the film is expected to release theatrically before releasing exclusively on Apple TV+.
