Imman has earlier scored music for Siva's Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Rajini Murugan, Seemaraja and Namma Veetu Pillai,
Sivakarthikeyan and Imman
It was confirmed recently that Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Doctor will hit the screens in October, thus putting speculation pertaining to its OTT release to rest. Though its director Nelson Dilipkumar is now busy with Vijay-starrer Beast there were reports of Doctor releasing in the second week of October. But looks like it is unlikely to happen as Enemy and Aranmanai 3 have announced their release dates as October 14. Siva has Ravikumar's sci-fi flick Ayalaan and Cibi's comic caper Don, too, in his kitty.
A little birdie says that the actor's next film, to be directed by debutant Ashok, has been titled Singa Paadhai. The term 'Singa Paadhai' became popular after Rajinikanth utters it in the interval sequence of Shankar's Sivaji. The way he tosses the coin and decides his future accompanied by thundering background score by AR Rahman was a huge rage among the star's fans and other movie buffs.
We hear that Imman has been roped in to score music for the project, which will have debutant Ashok, a former assistant to Atlee, at the helm. Imman has earlier scored music for Siva's Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Rajini Murugan, Seemaraja and Namma Veetu Pillai, and a few songs from these films were instant chartbusters. It is also heard that Sivakarthikeyan will be seen essaying dual roles in the movie, as a father and a son.
The movie, it is said that, will commence shooting from October in Tamil Nadu. A new heroine is considered to play the female lead in the movie, which will be bankrolled by KJR Studios of Kotapadi J Rajesh, who is co-producing Doctor along with Sivakarthikeyan Productions. Imman, on the other hand, has Rajinikanth-starrer Annaatthe and Suriya-starrer Etharkkum Thunindhavan among other projects in his kitty. His last outing was Laabam, which was released in theatres last week.
