Sivakarthikeyan to collaborate with Venkat Prabhu for SK 25?

Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up for Amaran releasing on October 31. He is reportedly set to collaborate with director Venkat Prabhu for his 25th film, although no official announcement has been made

Sivakarthikeyan, who was last acted in Ayalaan, will be next seen in Amaran, which is expected to hit theatres on October 31. While the actor is working in a few projects currently, reports suggest that Sivakarthikeyan’s 25th film will be helmed by Venkat Prabhu.

Venkat Prabhu to direct SK 25?

Sivakarthikeyan is currently working with AR Murugadoss for a yet to be titled film, tentatively called SK 23. The actor is also expecting the release of Amaran on October 31.

Amid this, new reports suggest that Sivakarthikeyan will be teaming up with filmmaker Venkat Prabhu. Sathya Jyothi Films is expected to bankroll the project which is tentatively called SK 25. However, no official announcement on the same has been made by the concerned parties. If the news is indeed true, it marks the first time that Venkat Prabhu and Sivakarthikeyan will be collaborating.

There are also reports suggesting that Sivakarthikeyan will be making a cameo in Venkat Prabhu’s upcoming film The GOAT, starring Vijay in the lead role. Scheduled to release on September 5, The GOAT is an action thriller film. Sivakarthikeyan and Trisha are speculated to make special appearances in the film. However, it is not confirmed by the makers.

Sivakarthikeyan’s next

Sivakarthikeyan’s next release is Amaran in which he will be playing a military officer. Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, the film will release on big screens on October 31 for Diwali.

Amaran is a biopic of Mukund Varadarajan, who was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. He was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his operation with the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion. Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, Lallu and others form the supporting cast, with GV Prakash Kumar composing the music.

The actor is also working with AR Murugadoss in SK 23. Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Vikranth and others play important roles in the film.
