At the pre-release event of RRR which was held at Chennai, Sivakarthikeyan expressed happiness for having met Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ramcharan together, and said that he can't wait for the movie to release. He also said that it is good to see Rajamouli coming up with projects which are erasing the lines of north-south demarcation.

The Doctor star also expressed that he has been a huge fan of Rajamouli ever since Magadheera's release. Later, he went gaga over the filmmaker's Naan Ee which released around the time Siva made his entry to filmdom as an actor.

He said, "I was awestruck after watching Rajamouli sir's Naan Ee. I used to think that if he is ready to make films with fly, one day, he would make movie with me as well. What I admire about him is his grounded nature despite being the country's most wanted filmmaker who made a movie which was celebrated across the world."

Siva said that the director is quite an inspiring figure for not just people in the industry, but for everyone who aspire to pursue their dreams. All praise for Ram Charan's humbleness, Siva said that he was really excited when the former told him that his family members watch the latter's movies.

He also showered praise on Jr NTR's Brindavanam his favourite movie of the latter (streaming on MX Player), and added that the Tollywood star reminds him of a lion while performing emotional-heavy sequences.

Siva added, "I really enjoyed the trailer of RRR; each shot was amazing, to say the least. I can't wait to catch the FDFS of the movie. I hope it breaks all the existing box office records. It's good to see the film breaking the so-called north-south divide in the country."
