Vishal Chandrasekhar scores the music for the film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi
Sita Ramam, actor, producer Dulquer Salmaan's second straight Telugu film after Mahanati, is gearing up for a release in the coming months. The film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi marks the Telugu debut of Jersey, Toofaan actress Mrunal Thakur. Dulquer Salmaan is cast as Lieutenant Ram while Mrunal plays the role of Sita in the project. Leading Telugu banner Vyjayanthi Movies presents the film bankrolled by Ashwini Dutt, Priyanka Dutt under Swapna Cinema.
While Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in an extended cameo appearance, the film has a terrific supporting cast comprising big names like Sumanth, Gautham Menon and Prakash Raj as well. Sita Ramam has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar. The first song from the period romance, Oh Rama Hey Sita, is all set to be launched tomorrow. Ahead of the song launch, the makers have unveiled its intriguing promo earlier today.
The promo takes us through the war situation in Kashmir in 1964, where a flurry of men are being shot by armymen all over. Later, Dulquer Salmaan is gently letting a series of butterflies out of a jar, asking them to learn dance from Sita. The butterflies later magically transform into the title that comes with a caption, 'Yuddham tho raasina premakatha.'
Hanu Raghavapudi had earlier worked with composer Vishal Chandrasekhar for other films like Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Padi Padi Leche Manasu. PS Vinod is the cinematographer for the film that'll simultaneously release in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The technical crew also comprises production designer Sunil Babu, art director Vaishnavi Reddy, costume designer Sheetal Sharma. Ace technician Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor. The film's release date hasn't been announced yet.
