Agathiyan's 1999 film Sirf Tum is one of the heartwarming love stories of all time. Starring Sanjay Kapoor and Priya Gill, the movie beautifully depicts the romance between two young people, madly in love with each other. The film was well-received by the audiences upon its theatrical release on June 11, 1999. Helmed by Agathiyan, Sirf Tum is available for streaming on ZEE5. The film's storyline is about a love triangle. Deepak (Sanjay Kapoor) and Aarti (Priya Gill) fall in love with each other through letters as they live in different cities. They fall in love even though they have not seen or met each other. Aarti then decides to meet Deepak, whom she bumps into multiple times but because they haven't met, she doesn't recognise him.
However, Deepak's boss Neha (Sushmita Sen) has some plans of her own for Deepak; that do not involve Aarti at all but Deepak does not feel the same for her. The film was appreciated for its narrative as well as the iconic song 'Dilbar' performed by Sushmita Sen. The film stars Sanjay Kapoor, Priya Gill, Sushmita Sen, Simran Bagga, Jackie Shroff, and others.

Earlier, in an interview with indianexpress, Sanjay Kapoor spoke about how his experience in the film industry is filled with ups and downs and mentioned that post-Sirf Tum, he did not get any film offers. He said, “You can’t just give it away; you can’t just get frustrated and let it go. Sometimes it is just bad timing, the moment is not right. When I did a film called Sirf Tum, it was super hit, but after that for one year I didn’t sign anything."
