In a recent interview, lead actor Jayam Ravi revealed the reason that made him to say yes to Antony Bhagyaraj’s Siren. “It's a very new screenplay and a twisted tale. Although the story is straight to comprehend, how the movie takes it forward is what attracted me the most. And my character, a very grey shade role, who is able to do everything while being at one place fascinated me. I believe that Siren has potential, because the way it transformed a linear storyline to something much more interesting is worth watching," the actor revealed. He continued, “I really enjoyed Antony’s writing style and the way this story will leave people guessing is something I really liked about the script”.
Earlier, Siren had partnered with ZEE5. But now according to close sources, Disney+ Hotstar has acquired the film's streaming rights. The film will be available for streaming on the OTT giant after its theatrical run. However, an official announcement from the makers is awaited.
