Siragan, the recently released Tamil film, which stars actor Gajaraj in the lead role, is set to have a digital premiere soon. The film will be available on Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium, the platform announced on social media on Saturday. Siragan will premiere on June 18.

Siragan on Aha
Siragan is a 2024 Tamil crime thriller that was released on April 20. The film did not create any buzz upon its release and had mixed responses from critics, further continuing the dry spell in Tamil cinema. Written and directed by filmmaker Venkateshwaraj, it stars actor Gajaraj in the lead role. He is mostly known to appear in supporting roles in his son and filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj’s directorial films.
Apart from him, the film also stars ViJiva Ravi, Vinoth Gd, Ananth Nag, Fouize Hidhaya, Pooventhan, Malik, Balaji Venkatraman, Harshitha Ram, Sanu, and Ananth Venkkat, among others.
The film is written and directed by Venkateshwaraj, who also served as the film's editor. It is produced by Durka Patric. Siragan’s technical crew consists of cinematography by Setai Sikkender, with Ram Ganesh. K scoring the music. The art director is Hari Prasad Paul. The film will be available on Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium from June 18 onwards.

Siragan's trailer is available on YouTube. It shows Gajaraj playing the role of Kalidas, who is being probed for being a witness in a murder case. The film seems to revolve around a murder mystery and how various characters get involved in it. Gajaraj's character seems to be the point of view through which the story takes place.
Meanwhile, Aha Tamil has been expanding their Tamil content library. The platform has been acquiring the post-theatrical streaming rights of the 2024 Tamil films, including Sivakarthikeyan-backed Kurangu Pedal, Hot Spot, Vijay Antony-starrer Romeo, Ranam Aram Thavarel, and Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, to name a few. All these titles are also available on OTTplay Premium as well.
