Rohit Shetty is known for his successful cop universe. In a recent interview, the filmmaker hinted at the possibility of a female cop universe after Singham Again, featuring Deepika Padukone.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is known for his successful cop universe, which includes films like Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi. Earlier this year, the director expanded his cop universe to OTT space with the Indian Police Force. At the trailer launch of Cirkus, Rohit introduced Deepika Padukone as the first female cop of his much-celebrated universe. She will be seen in Singham Again. Now, in an interview, the director hinted at the possibility of a female cop universe.
In an interview with News18, Rohit Shetty was asked if he plans to make a female cop universe film soon. Reacting to this, Shetty hinted at the possibility of it and said that there is a women-centric film in the pipeline and it will happen 'very soon'. The filmmaker added that audiences will get to see a lot of hand-to-hand combat sequences in his upcoming movie, Singham Again.
Calling himself 'old school', Rohit added that he relies on real action sequences rather than VFX. "I think now everyone is doing VFX. It is not just us but all over the world. Most importantly, it is a bit easier and safer. When you are doing hand-to-hand combat, we are trying to be as real as possible. We are old-school guys. For me, hand-to-hand combat will always be real," he told the publication.
