It is almost time that Rohit Shetty comes back with his film from his cop universe. The filmmaker is going to soon announce Singham Again and the cast of the film. We have learnt that two of the most in-demand actresses have joined the movie starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role. Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan are the latest to join the franchise film.

Deepika joins cop universe

Deepika is the latest entrant in the cop universe. She plays the role of a cop, much like Ajay Devgn’s Singham, Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh’s Simmba. This time, Akshay makes a cameo appearance while Ajay leads the film and Ranveer plays a pivotal role in it.

Jackie Shroff is the antagonist

According to a report on Pinkvilla, Jackie Shroff has joined the project as the lead antagonist. Ajay, Akshay, Ranveer and Deepika have found the country’s common enemy in Jaggu dada.

Kareena comes back to Singham

Kareena is coming back to the Singham franchise. She played Ajay’s wife in Singham 2. Singham Again will be an extension of her character. She is not a cop but will still play a crucial role in the film. Kareena will be joining the team for shoot towards the end of the month. Reportedly, the team worked on the script for 18 months. They will take the next six months to complete shoot. The film will be shot across India and outside it. Rohit has decided to shoot most of his action sequences in real locations for the film. The movie is expected to be Rohit’s most expensive film to date. It is expected to feature some of the biggest action scenes seen in India. We might also get to see a new arc to Singham with this movie. It is something that Rohit has personally overlooked in the scripting stage.
