Popular Singaporean actors Yeo Yann Yann and Sunny Pang will soon be seen sharing screen space with Hollywood actor Tom Hardy in Netflix's upcoming action thriller movie, Havoc. The ensemble cast of the movie features some other big names like Forest Whitaker, The Umbrella Academy's Justin Cornwell, Shadow and Bone actor Jessie Mei Li, Boogie Night's Luis Guzman and UFC MMA artist Michelle Waterson.

Havoc is a high-intensity movie that focuses on a bruised detective as he fights his way through the underworld in order to rescue a politician's estranged son. Along the journey, he is caught in webs of corruption and conspiracies.

The 44-year old award-winning actor Yeo couldn't contain her excitement as she took to social media to share the news. Afterwards, in an interview with Variety, she expressed her emotions and said, “My heart is filled with excitement. I can’t wait to start the shoot.”

Meanwhile, Pang revealed in an interview with the entertainment portal 8days.sg that he has been rehearsing for his role in Wales and is set to begin shooting sometime next month. The actor said that he had previously met Gareth Evans, the director in 2014 when he was based in Indonesia. The two have maintained their friendship since then.

Gearing up to work with Yeo again after they worked on HBO's anthology series Invisible Stories, The Code of Law actor said he is excited to work with an old friend. Both of their roles in the upcoming movie have been kept under wraps.

The movie will be helmed by The Raid franchise director Gareth Evans who has recently signed a deal with Netflix to produce and direct films exclusively for the streamer for the next few years.
