The makers of Manoj Bajpayee's 2021 film Silence have announced its sequel. It will be released soon on ZEE5.
In 2021, Manoj Bajpayee played the role of ACP Avinash Verma in Silence. The film, directed by Aban Bharucha Deohans, premiered on ZEE5. Three years down the line, the makers have made an official announcement about Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout. Manoj returns as ACP Avinash in the movie. The film, which went on floors last year, is ready to release on ZEE5. However, the release date has not been announced yet.
The streaming platform shared a glimpse of Manoj Bajpayee marking his return as ACP Avinash Verma in Silence 2. In an official statement, the actor said that he is back to restore peace and order. Manoj added that he is excited for the audience to witness how the plot unravels in the sequel. He also hoped to meet the expectations of viewers and provide them with an 'immersive' experience again.
While sharing a glimpse of Silence 2 on Instagram, the makers of the film penned, "Criminals ko dobara silent karne, ACP Avinash is coming back! Silence2OnZEE5, coming soon! (sic)."

While Manoj Bajpayee plays the lead role in Silence 2, the star cast of the film also includes Prachi Desai, Vaquar Shaikh, and Sahil Vaid. The first installment of Silence sheds light on Manoj and his team solving the murder case of a woman. On the other hand, the sequel's storyline will revolve around more dark secrets and unexpected twists.
Meanwhile, director Aban Bharucha Deohans shared that working with Manoj Bajpayee was an absolute joy. He felt that the actor's dedication added more depth to the film. "This installment tackles important societal issues while maintaining the thrilling atmosphere that audiences loved in the first film," added Deohans.
