In a chat with The Free Press Journal, Prachi expressed, “The roles being written today are way better and far from the stereotypical way of portraying women on screen. Audiences are exposed to so much content that they have become much smarter. It really makes a huge difference for me in making my choices now. Today, I don’t have to worry about playing the antagonist or protagonist as it is only about doing interesting roles.”
Prachi further recalled her experience of working with Farhan Akhtar in the 2008 film Rock On!! She said that her first acting break came when she was 17. “Rock On!! happened at the age of 19. Between gigs and the movie, I received numerous offers, and I followed my instincts with each one. Rock On!! was truly a dream come true” she said.

The long-awaited trailer for Silence 2 starring Manoj Bajpayee and Prachi Desai has finally been released. Both Manoj and Prachi return to portray their characters ACP Avinash and Inspector Sanjana Bhatia. Directed by Aban Bharucha Deohans, this suspenseful thriller also includes Parul Gulati, Dinker Sharma, Sahil Vaid, and Vaquar Shaikh in important roles. The movie follows ACP Avinash and his crime unit as they strive to solve the enigmatic murders.
