Yodha, a film starring Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani, has been postponed once more. Originally, the film was all set to release in September. After the success of Shershaah, Sidharth is reunited with Karan Johar for the action movie.
The background of Yodha, a film by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, is an airspace hijacking. The movie was originally scheduled to release in theatres on September 15, 2023, but now it will release on December 15. The film will be directed by debutant directors’ Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.
Yodha is backed by Karan Johar's production company and features Raashii Khanna as well. Dharma Productions formally announced Yodha's new release date on their Instagram account. They wrote: "Re-fueled and Re-fueled and ready to soar! #YODHA - the first action film of the franchise headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha - lands in cinemas on 15th DECEMBER, 2023. The film also stars Disha Patani & Raashii Khanna in lead roles."
The action-packed movie, which is a collaboration between Prime Video and Dharma Productions, is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.
Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra will also feature in Rohit Shetty's Indian Police Force. This year, the series will get an OTT premiere on Amazon Prime. Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Vivek Oberoi will also play significant roles in the drama series in addition to Sidharth.
