The actor opens up on how the upcoming Yodha brings out the best of him
Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra, who has multiple releases lined up in the coming year, says that he always looks for a script that allows him to bring forth a newer version of himself. The Shershaah actor will be next seen in the film Yodha which will be released in the theatres on July 7, 2023.
Talking about his approach towards scripts that come his way Sidharth said in a statement, "As an artist, you would want to work on scripts that bring out the best in you. This truly unveiled a newer version of me, which I am very thankful for. I can't wait to showcase what Yodha has for them."
Ever since he made his debut with Student of the Year, Sidharth Malhotra has managed to gather a humongous female fan base. The actor also receives a huge amount of love from the audience for his screen presence. Ask him about the same, he feels it's all 'magical'.
Sidharth's upcoming film Yodha is directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha and produced by Hiroo Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film, which is based on a hijacking story, also stars Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani.
The audience has a lot of expectations from Yodha because it is a Dharma Productions film and Sidharth started his career with the same production house under the mentorship of Karan Johar. He has always been a frequent collaborator with Johar and has worked in films like - Hasee Toh Phasee, Brothers, Kapoor & Sons, and Baar Baar Dekho with the same banner.
Their last outing Shershaah, in which Sidharth essayed the character of the late Captain Vikram Batra, was much loved by the audience and critics alike.
Sidharth's upcoming lineup of films look quite promising with Rohit Shetty's directorial web series titled The Indian Police Force and Mission Majnu starring Rashmika Mandanna.
