Sidharth Malhotra is reportedly going to play the role of a rich business tycoon in Param Sundari, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor.

A Mid-Day report mentioned that Sidharth Malhotra is reportedly collaborating on a project with Janhvi Kapoor for the first time. The duo will be seen sharing screen space in a cross-cultural love story, Param Sundari. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film will reportedly go on floors in December. Now, in a recent interview, Sidharth confirmed the project and expressed his happiness in collaborating with Janhvi.

In an interview with ETimes, Sidharth Malhotra confirmed that he is indeed collaborating with Janhvi Kapoor for Tushar Jalota's Param Sundari.

The actor shared, "This Diwali felt like a fresh start as I begin my new project. It’s exciting to step back into the romantic genre after a few years, and I’m looking forward to creating something fun and memorable with Janhvi (Kapoor, co-star)." He also added that it’s a new chapter that feels just right for the season of new beginnings.

According to Mid-Day, Sidharth Malhotra's character in Param Sundari hails from Delhi while Janhvi Kapoor's character is from Kerala. The report suggests Sidharth will play a sophisticated and rich business tycoon in the Tushar Jalota directorial.

Speaking about Janhvi's character, a source revealed, "Janhvi plays a modern artist with strong views and value system. Her character is a South Indian woman from Kerala. The film chronicles how the two fall in love despite having such contrasting personalities."

The first schedule of their movie will begin in Delhi with Sidharth. This will be followed by a stint in Kerala. And later, the rest of the shooting will take place in a studio in Mumbai. Two elaborate sets will be created in the studio. While one set will be of elaborate houses, the other set will reflect the mud interiors of traditional Kerala houses.

The source further shared that if things go as planned, filming for Param Sundari will wrap up by February 2025. Sheetal Sharma, who recently worked on Munjya and Stree 2, is the costume designer on this project and the look tests of both actors were conducted recently.
