A while ago, Bhumi Pednekar took to her Instagram Story and shared a recent picture of herself with Ayushmann Khurrana enjoying tea and biscuits. Sharing the picture, Bhumi wanted fans to look at how Sugandha and Mudit look in 2024. They played these roles in the film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.

On the other hand, Ayushmann dropped a clip from the movie as he expressed his gratefulness to the movie. Sharing the video, he captioned it, #7YearsOfShubhMangalSaavdhan"

In the film, Ayushmann played Mudit while Bhumi played Sugandha. When Mudit's erectile dysfunction became a public secret two days before the wedding, the ceremony was almost derailed due to interference from both families. After trying possible remedies for his illness, Mudit found himself in a ridiculous state of disarray.
In Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Ayushmann once again played the role and Bhumi made a cameo appearance. The film hit theaters on February 21, 2020.
