Shruti started 2023 with a bang with two back-to-back box office hits: Veera Simha Reddy with Nandamuri Balakrishna and Waltair Veerayya with Chiranjeevi. Looking ahead, she is gearing up for one of the year’s most anticipated films, Salaar, in which she has been paired with Prabhas.

Shruti debuted in films with the 2009 film Luck, which also starred Imran Khan. She then went on to act across different language film industries, with films like Race Gurram with Allu Arjun, 3 with Dhanush (which had the hit Kolavari Di song), Singham 3 with Suriya, Puli with Vijay, Yevadu with Ram Charan, and Welcome Back with Anil Kapoor and John Abraham.

The year 2023 also sees Shruti making her international debut: the psychological thriller The Eye.

Speaking about completing 14 years in the film industry, Shruti said, "Honestly, when I did my first film, I didn’t even know if I was going to do a second or a third film. It was something I did completely by chance. I am grateful for every experience, every opportunity, and every lesson that the last 14 years have brought me. As I look back on my journey, I am filled with a sense of pride and gratitude for all that I have achieved and all the wonderful people I have met along the way. Here's to many more years of growth, learning, and creative fulfilment."

Apart from Salaar and The Eye, Shruti will also be releasing her musical project later this year.
