Shreyas Talpade to be discharged from hospital soon — Soham Shah says, 'It was a big relief to see...'

Shreyas Talpade is recovering well after suffering a heart attack. Soham Shah, who visited Shreyas in hospital, was relieved to see the actor smiling.

Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack earlier this week. As per media reports, the actor felt uneasy and collapsed after he returned from the Welcome To The Jungle shoot. Since Shreyas collapsed on his way to the hospital, doctors had to perform immediate angioplasty. As of today, the actor is doing fine and actor Soham Shah was relieved to see Shreyas talking to him.

In an interview with ETimes, Soham confirmed that Shreyas will either get discharged tonight or Monday (December 18) morning. Shah added that he visited the actor on Friday and it was a 'big relief' to Shreyas smiling and talking to him.

Talking to the entertainment portal, Soham Shah mentioned Shreyas was filled with gratitude and blessings that he was taken care of. The actor also credited Talpade's wife Deepti for her presence of mind and for taking the right decisions at the right time.

"They both have felt divine intervention that he was revived back, as it was a very challenging time to reach the hospital battling the traffic. Thank God he's recovering well and everyone's best wishes are with him," said Soham.

Deepti Talpade issues official statement

A day after Shreyas was hospitalised, Deepti Talpade issued an official statement. She expressed gratitude to everyone sending well wishes and their concern regarding her husband's health scare. Deepti added that Shreyas' condition was stable and he was likely to be discharged in a few days.

Shreyas' wife was grateful to the medical team for their expertise and how their 'exceptional care' and 'timely treatment' was instrumental in the actor's recovery. "Your unwavering support has been a tremendous source of strength for both of us," she added.

Meanwhile, we wish a speedy recovery to Shreyas and hope to see him back in action.
