Welcome to the Jungle is one of the most ambitious projects of the Welcome franchise. Akshay Kumar fans know that the first film of the franchise, titled Welcome, was released in 2007 followed by the second film, Welcome Back in 2015. The third film of the franchise, named Welcome to the Jungle, is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 20, 2024. While news about the upcoming film continues to circulate online, here is what Shreyas Talpade has to say.

Shreyas Talpade feels 'there are some crazy scenes' in Welcome to the Jungle

Shreyas Talpade – who will soon be featuring for the first time in the franchise, has shared a few details about the upcoming film. The 48-year-old actor said that Welcome to the Jungle has a very unique storyline where a group of men come together for a hilarious comedy. In a conversation with News 18, he said, "The goal was to create excitement and keep the audience engaged. We have a big shoot coming up in March, and I am excited about it."

Shreyas further revealed that his onscreen presence with actors Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, and Sanjay Dutt will promise bang-on entertainment. Shreyas said, “There are some crazy scenes with me and Tusshar together. That was one of the USPs, not only me and Tusshar but also Arshad and Sanju sir are coming together."

Why was Shreyas in the news recently?

In December 2023, actor Shreyas Talpade suffered a sudden and serious heart attack while filming. He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, where he underwent angioplasty. Despite his seemingly good health, Talpade's cardiac arrest came as a shock to his fans. However, due to prompt medical attention and support, Talpade has now recovered and has been discharged from the hospital.

Welcome to the Jungle, often called Welcome 3, will also feature Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani as the female leads.
