Shraddha Kapoor will next appear in Luv Ranjan's untitled romantic comedy with Ranbir Kapoor.
Shraddha Kapoor hopes to be a part of a movie with her father Shakti Kapoor, who has graced the screen in a variety of comical and villainous roles in his four-decade-long career like Crime Master Gogo in Andaaz Apna Apna or Kachra Seth in Hungama.
Shraddha recently told ETimes that she would love to collaborate with Shakti, especially on a comedy movie. “He is constantly making us laugh in the house. It would be lovely to share screen space with him,” she said.
Shakti had previously made a cameo appearance in Shraddha’s 2010 debut Teen Patti but they are yet to work on a full-fledged film.
The actress explained that knowing Shakti at home and of his work as an actor “there’s so much to learn from him.”
With parts in films such as Chhichore Saaho, Street Dancer 3D and her last outing Baaghi 3 with Tiger Shroff, Shraddha has played a range of characters on screen.
She will next appear in Luv Ranjan's untitled romantic comedy with Ranbir Kapoor. The actress will also star in Chaalbaaz in London, a remake of Sridevi’s 1989 film ChaalBaaz, as well as Nikhil Dwivedi's trilogy film in which she will portray a shapeshifting snake.
Rumour has it that she and Kriti Sanon are in the running to secure the role of Sati, the Meluhan princess and protagonist Shiva's love interest, for the web-series adaptations of The Immortals of Meluha. An official confirmation from the makers is yet to be made.
