Shraddha Kapoor to play lead in Chandu Champion?

Kartik Aaryan’s latest film ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ has really worked magic for everyone associated with the film, thanks to the positive and encouraging response at the box-office. Of everyone, one of the main beneficiaries of the film has indeed been Kartik Aaryan, who is having a dream run at the box office. Post the runaway super success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, Kartik Aaryan hit the bulls’ eye yet again with ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, although the latter did not meet as much success as the former. The latest update on Kartik Aaryan’s filmography is that, he has been signed by the prolific film maker Kabir Khan. And the film has been titled as ‘Chandu Champion’.

The latest update about the film is that, the film’s makers have almost finalised on the leading lady of the film. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the makers are considering Shraddha Kapoor to be the film’s leading lady. The same report stated as per a source that, Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan are scouting for a leading lady and that they are very keen on Shraddha Kapoor playing the role. Shraddha Kapoor, on the other hand, is also reportedly super excited about the project. The same report stated that, presently, Shraddha Kapoor, who is leading the race for the leading lady, is in talks with the film’s producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who happens to be the film’s producer and that they both are working on the modalities.

If Shraddha Kapoor becomes the leading lady of the film, then, this will mark the first time on screen pairing between her and Kartik Aaryan. Watch this space for developments.
