After making waves with her recent release Stree 2, Shraddha Kapoor once again made headlines when she made a stylish appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival 2024. The event took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and the actress walked alongside Hollywood star Andrew Garfield. In a recent interview, Shraddha talked about her Hollywood plans and revealed if she wants to work for international projects.
Shraddha Kapoor wants to follow Shah Rukh Khan's path
Shraddha Kapoor recently attended an event by the India Today group. While speaking at Agenda Aaj Tak, Shraddha Kapoor reveals her career ambition and says she wants to take Bollywood to global heights. She said, “main chahti hoon ki mujhe na Shah Rukh Khan jaise banana hai, ki humaari filmon ka market wahan pe lekar jaaon. Humaari filmein international filmein banein. (I want to be like Shah Rukh Khan, to take our films' market there. I want our films to become international films.)
For the uninitiated, In an old interview with Variety, when Shah Rukh Khan was asked why he has not done a Hollywood movie in his career spanning more than 30 years, the superstar said, “My dream is to get that one Indian film to be seen with the kind of audience that a big Hollywood film is seen, whether I’m part of it as an actor, as a light man, as a producer, as a writer, as a presenter. I just want an Indian story to be accepted worldwide, and hopefully I can be a small part of it.”

On professional front, Shraddha Kapoor is still busy basking in love for Stree 2. The movie also featured her along with Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi from the prequel with all of them reprising their roles. If you missed a chance of watchin the horror comedy sequel on the big screens or want to rewatch the enertaining film, it is currently available for streaming on Prime Video India.
The actress will be next seen in the supernatural film titled Naagin. Directed by Nikhil Dwivedi, the film is expected to start production next year.
