The king of show business is back and ready to reign supreme. Starting on July 12 all episodes of Showtime will be available on Disney+ Hotstar.

Mihir Desai, who is both the showrunner and the director said in a statement that this time around in Showtime they explore the personal journeys of each character, delving deep into their inner worlds. The complicated character beneath the surface is revealed by Emraan Hashmi's depiction of the lone wolf Raghu Khanna. A gripping tornado of events engulfs the individuals in the series. Despite first impressions, this is more than just an exposé of the seedy side of Bollywood; it delves into powerful stories of ambition, greed, and perseverance. Fans of Disney+ Hotstar will be in for a rollercoaster ride as their favourite characters face difficult choices between love and ambition.

Emraan Hashmi on industry dynamics

Like any industry, the industry has its ups and downs, but Emraan Hashmi said you're in it for the long haul once you understand the dynamics. Raghu Khanna is like a mini-Karan Johar; he can't help but think of the filmmaker whenever he watches him because of his boundless enthusiasm and determination to succeed. The actor sometimes finds himself wondering what would have happened to the industry if it had producers like Raghu Khanna.

Throughout his extensive career, Emraan has yet to see a producer of Raghu's calibre who is able to transcend the toxic nature of Bollywood. Unlike modern producers, who cater to performers' every whim, Raghu has his own set of priorities. Is that the end of Raghu's story? He's been through a lot, from losing the biggest studio of all time, "Viktory Studios," to struggling with being an outsider and his lifelong love, Yasmin (Mouni Roy). How will he get back up off the ground, and after what is rightfully his?

According to Mouni Roy, Yasmin's story reflects the experiences of many actors who bravely stand up for themselves, even when faced with fan and professional backlash. Even though this harassment didn't make them who they are, it has an effect on them since, as performers, they thrive on the support of their fans. Throughout the series, Yasmin struggles within and strives to overcome each setback. A fresh dynamic between Raghu Khanna and Yasmin will also be on display. Mouni really enjoyed playing Yasmin, and she really hopes that everyone watches every Showtime episode.
