Mammootty’s upcoming projects

Mammootty is gearing up for the release of its latest investigative drama, Kannur Squad helmed by Roby Varghese Raj. In the film, he essays the role of a policeman. It will hit the theatres on September 28. The actor will also be joining hands with Amal Neerad for a film, which is said to be the sequel to Bheeshmaparavam. The announcement was supposed to happen on Mammootty’s birthday (September 7), but it didn’t for some reason.

Currently, the actor is shooting Bramayugam a horror film helmed by Bhoothakaalam maker Rahul Sadasivan. Reports suggest that Mammootty plays a negative character in the film, which was apparent from the first-look poster in which the actor sported a devilish grin.
