KBC 16: Shoojit Sircar recalls starting his journey with Amitabh Bachchan's show; shares inspiring story | PROMO

Shoojit Sircar and Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in an upcoming episode of Amitabh Bachchan hosted the show, KBC 16.

Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati is one of the most loved shows on Indian Television. While the megastar is currently hosting the 16th successful season of the show the upcoming episode will feature actor Abhishek Bachchan filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, and author Arjun Sen. The trio appeared on the show to promote their upcoming film, I Want To Talk. In the episode, Shoojit Sircar shared an interesting story about his journey which has a big KBC connection to it.

In the new promo shared by the makers, Big B can be seen revealing that Shoojit Sircar started his career in the first season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. He said that in 2000 when the show started, he was the director of the show. Shoojit then reveals that he was called in Mumbai by Siddharth Basu that he should help him. He then came to Mumbai from Delhi for the first time for KBC. He also mentioned how he met Amitabh Bachchan on the show, then did a film with him and now he’s sitting on the hot seat with him.

Sharing the promo on their social media accounts, the makers captioned it: "From KBC to Cinema, Shoojit Sircar has not forgotten his routes!"
