Shohorer Ushnotomo Dine-actress Anamika Chakraborty ties the knot with Uday Pratap Singh

Anamika and Uday Pratap were engaged for the last two and a half years.

Anamika Chakraborty’s chemistry with her television co-actor Shaun Banerjee was lapped up by their fans after their hit mega serial Ekhane Akash Neel. Just a couple of days before the actress’ film Shohorer Ushnotomo Dine was set to hit the theatres, Anamita tied the knot with her fiance, actor Uday Pratap Singh.

Anamika was engaged to Uday Pratap Singh for the last two and a half years. Uday Pratap Singh is now popular as Ratul, owing to the serial Mithai. Their affair has never been a secret. Neither did they keep their marriage a secret. Just after Wednesday midnight, their wedding pictures ruled social media. In the photos, Anamika is seen in marital finery with bright red vermilion on her forehead. Uday is seen hugging her, with the mark of vermillion on his finger.

Uday told Aajkaal Dot In. He said, “We had a family gathering. It was held in the house. We had the registry done. We wish to have a social marriage next year.” Uday and Anamika will share the same roof and will go to North Bengal for a small honeymoon. They will be accompanied by Uday’s school friends and their families. The newly married couple is busy on Thursday arranging their home. Uday said, “Anamika is happy and excited. It is visible in the picture.”

They surely look cute and happy in the photos. Anamika was decked up in a soft pink saree, corset blouse, and light jewellery. Uday wore a white sherwani. Many of their fans commented that those were like dream photos. It was a simple marriage ceremony. There was no crowd. Anamika shared the photos and said, “Our new life. We did it.”

Television stars congratulated them. Anamika’s co-star in Shohorer Ushnotomo Dine Vikram Chatterjee, Adrija Roy, Anwesha Hazra, Sudipta Chakraborty, Mismi Das, Roshni Bhattacharya, and others wished them good luck for their new journey.
