Palak Sindhwani is among the various actors and actresses quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The actress, who plays the role of Sonu in the show, has been issuing statements about her side of the story and why she is leaving the show. In her recent interaction, Palak has spoken about her issues with the producer Asit Kumarr Modi. It is to be noted that everybody associated with the show has spoken about problems with the makers, which made them quit. Before Palak, it was Jennifer Bansiwal, who played the role of Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi for a long time. Palak revealed that she shot for TMKOC with anxiety for 5-6 days straight. Palak Sindhwani claims she shot for 5-6 days with anxiety

Palak was blindsided in the 'breach of contract' matter. The actress wanted to talk to a crew member regarding it but was kept on hold from September 14 to September 18. Nonetheless, the show had to go on for Palak. She shot for TMKOC for 5-6 days with anxiety. "Only I know what was going through. I couldn't accept what was happening," she recalled in her interview with Pinkvilla. The actress got a panic attack on the set and was shivering but did not receive help from the makers.

Asit Kumarr Modi threatened Palak Sindhwani instead

In the same interview, Palak said that Asit threatened her to delete her Instagram account. She claims he also told her that they have a strong team that can delete her Instagram account overnight. She further claimed that Asit never granted her to take a leave despite the health issues. She could only get one day off, which was also to meet him. Post that, Palak got a legal notice for breach of contract on September 20.

Breach of contract issue

The actress believes that in her 5 years of being associated with the show, the makers started having issues because she hoped to quit the show. She had endorsed various brands over the years, but they accused her of 'breach of contract' over an endorsement only now, when she wished to quit. Palak also claimed that the makers questioned her on her endorsements to get a share for themselves.

The actress now hopes to take a month-long break after her stint. Tomorrow i.e. September 30 is the last day when Palak shoots for TMKOC.
