Shivarajkumar's response to Ghost and Thalapathy Vijay's Leo box office clash is winning hearts

Shivarajkumar's Ghost and Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay, will arrive in cinemas worldwide on the same day.

Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar is now gearing up for the release of his action movie named Ghost. As part of the promotions, he recently interacted with his fans on social media under the hashtag, #AskNimmaShivanna. While responding to a tweet from a fan page dedicated to Thalapthy Vijay, Shivarajkumar extended his best wishes to Leo.

Ghost and Leo, starring Vijay, will arrive in cinemas worldwide on the same day. And Ghost is also being released in all major Indian languages just like Leo. So the box office competition between Ghost and Leo will extend beyond Karnataka.

Yet, Shivarajkumar showed great sportsmanship and wisdom while tackling the box office clash. His response is now winning the hearts on social media.

"Thank you! All the best for #Leo watch both the films I’m sure it’ll surpass your expectations," Shivarajkumar wrote on his X account.

Shivarajkumar's growing popularity in TN

Shivanna made quite an impression on Tamil audiences with his terrific screen presence in the recent blockbuster, Jailer, Starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role, the movie earned more than Rs 600 crore in ticket sales. And Shivanna's explosive cameo is one of the reasons for the movie's grand success.

Shivanna is hoping to cash in on his new-found popularity with the Tamil audience by releasing Ghost in Tamil too.

Leo is highly-anticipated

Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the movie will hit the screens on October 19. Apart from Vijay, Leo boasts of an ensemble cast that includes Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy Master, and Mathew Thomas among others. In addition, Lokesh has also roped in some popular YouTubers for cameo appearances.

The film is being produced on a grand scale. Leo is touted to expand the cinematic universe of drug lords and heroic spies created by Lokesh.

Leo marks the second collaboration between Vijay and Lokesh Kangaraj after the blockbuster hit Master.
