Shivarajkumar will join the set of Thalapathy Vijay's last film, provided his schedule aligns, given that he is currently in treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
Namma Century Star Shivarajkumar’s next big collaboration is with Thalapathy Vijay. The Hattrick Hero confirmed this development during the promotions of his next, Bhairathi Ranagal, which will be in theatres on November 15. Vijay’s film, which has been tentatively called #Thalapathy69 and #Vijay69, is said to be the Tamil superstar’s last movie before he plunges headlong into full-fledged politics.
The H Vinoth directorial that Bengaluru-based KVN Productions will back will have Shivanna in a “beautiful role”, provided his schedule aligns with that of the team. The actor is currently focusing on the promotions of Bhairathi Ranagal, following which he is expected to take off to the US as part of the treatment for an undisclosed health condition.

Shivarajkumar is currently in treatment for his illness and will have surgery in the US, followed by a month-long recuperation, before he returns to India and resumes work. He is expected to work on the untitled #Shivanna131 and Hemanth M Rao’s Bhairavana Kone Paata, besides shooting for his portions in Telugu superstar Ramcharan’s #RC16. Shivarajkumar has pushed ahead his schedules for these films because his treatment is ongoing.
“The role in #Vijay69 is quite interesting, but I don’t know how it will come together, considering my dates and schedules. It is said this will be his last film, but, personally, I think he should not call it quits just yet. As a friend and well-wisher, I think Vijay is a fantastic actor and good human being as well. His ambition is fantastic and I respect that. I hope I get to be a part of his film,” said Shivarajkumar speaking to Radio Mirchi.

Meanwhile, Bhairathi Ranagal is the prequel of Mufti and sees Shivarajkumar return to play the crime boss Ranagal. The Narthan directorial will explore how Bhairathi Ranagal the lawyer ends up becoming a ruthless crime lord.
