Shershaah’s Raataan Lambiyan is a heart-melting track featuring Kiara and Sidharth

Shershaah will see a direct-to-digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 12,,

Raataan Lambiyan, a romantic track from Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s Shershaah was released online today. The lead duo is seen romancing each other in visuals of the song, penned and composed by Tanishk Bagchi and rendered by Jubin Nautiyal and Asees Kaur.

The soulful track gives glimpses of the initial love phase of the young couple. Kiara and Sidharth can be seen being cosy in a movie theatre, taking long and multiple trails in markets, stealing their first kiss and more in the song, which ends with the actor in his army get-up.

Sidharth, who is portraying the character of the Kargil war hero Vikram Batra, also shared the track on Instagram and wrote, “Love like this is rare & for Capt. Vikram Batra (PVC) and Dimple, it lasted for more than just a lifetime! (sic).”

According to a report on India Today, talking about playing such a powerful character, Sidharth said, “He is someone who has inspired me as well because Vikram Batra overcame fear. He broke that obstacle with so much confidence, heart and style that we have memorable lines of him saying, ‘Ye dil maange more, sir’.”

The Vishnuvardhan directorial has been scripted by Sandeep Shrivastava. Shershaah will see a direct-to-digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 12.
