Shazam! Fury of the Gods first look: Zachary Levi’s superhero film 'has it all'

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is set to release in 2023.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ latest behind-the-scenes clip has been unveiled. The Zachary Levi starrer superhero movie also has Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Djimon Hounsou, Rachel Zegler, Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu.

The latest official clip glimpses the first look of Levi along with other pivotal casts of the film. He can be seen entering the sets of Shazam 2 and the video unveils his first look for the second instalment. “Hello! My name is Zachary Levi and I play Shazam,” says the actor. He further adds, “We all establish something special on the first movie and in Shazam! Fury of the Gods, we expand on that.” Director, David F Sanberg says, “Now they (Shazam and his fellow mates) have to balance their life with being superheroes.” He also mentions that there are few Goddesses that comes into Shazam’s world, while Levi reveals that Mirren and Liu are the two incredible new villains in the upcoming film. Producer, Peter Safran, the producer of the movie, shares that the film also has mythological creatures such as Minotaurs, Harpies and Dragons.

Meanwhile, the lead actor also revealed in the latest video that the suit of each of the superheroes in the film has got upgrades and they travel from Athens to Philadelphia and from Rock of Eternity to the Library of Eternity to the Realm of Gods. Mirren excitedly says, “We have it all.”

All the main actors can be seen performing superbly choreographed action sequences with the help of multiple harnesses.

Before the launch of the first look video, Liu shared an appreciation post on Twitter and wrote that being a part of this film has been so much fun.
