Shatamanam Bhavati director Vegesna Satish gears up for his OTT debut Kathalu

He has already finished filming three episodes of the web show that's to stream on a popular OTT platform soon

Filmmaker Vegesna Satish, who earned a credibility as a storyteller with many a family entertainer including the national award winning film Shatamanam Bhavati, Srinivasa Kalyanam, Entha Manchivaadavura, is working on multiple projects these days. While he had already wrapped up the shoot of Meghamsh Srihari, Sam Vegesna starrer Kothi Kommachi many months ago, he also finished filming his family entertainer Sri Sri Sri Raja Vaaru, marking the debut of Narne Nithiin as well.

Now, the director is all set to make a mark in the digital space too with Kathalu (Meevi Maavi). Set amid a rural backdrop, Kathalu (Meevi Maavi) is an exploration of life, relationships, conflicts and drama within families across villages. The web anthology comprising many episodes will take you through the idyllic life at villages across Telugu states. Vegesna Satish has finished shooting three episodes for Kathalu recently.

The filmmaker says audiences that through Kathalu, can expect a series of stories in his trademark style that can be watched by family audiences and youngsters alike. Kathalu will stream on a popular streaming platform soon. The show will be a clean entertainer free from any vulgarity (that one conventionally witnesses in OTT shows). Leading technicians and actors are working on Kathalu. An official update about the cast and crew can be expected soon.
