The Oke Oka Jeevitham actor was the chief-guest of the pre-release event of the comedy entertainer
Sharwanand, who earned critical acclaim for his subdued, measured performance in the bilingual Kanam/Oke Oka Jeevitham, is next working on a film with director Krishna Chaitanya. He was also the chief-guest for the pre-release event of Crazy Fellow, the Aadi Saikumar starrer, held in Hyderabad on Sunday. In his speech, he told why the film’s success would mean a lot to him.
“Aadi is always a man of few words and we may not know each other much. However, he is like a brother to me and I’ll always wish well for him. His father Sai Kumar and I share a great bond. When Aadi messaged me to come for the event, I didn’t think twice to say yes. I am ready to support him in which ever way I can, to the best of my capacities,” Sharwanand said.
“If Aadi succeeds with Crazy Fellow, I’ll be the first person to be happy. He’ll always be a brother to me and I wish him the very best. I sense a Run Raja Run flavour with the comedy. I hope he scores a big success,” he added. Sharwanand called the producer KK Radhamohan a dear friend. “Vinodhini Vaidyanathan acted with me in Journey, it’s good to see her in a Telugu film now,” he shared.
“I heard the songs and I really enjoyed listening to Balatripura Sundari. I’m sure we’ll work together soon. The orchestration was brilliant. I and Anish worked on a film earlier and it’s good to see him progress as an actor. I am looking forward to Narra Srinivas garu’s track with Aadi - I guess it has come out very well. The director’s comic timing was apparent in his speech,” the actor mentioned.
Mirnaa Menon and Digangana Suryavanshi play the female leads in the film that also stars Saptagiri, Narra Srinivas, Anish Kuruvilla, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Ravi Prakash, Pawan, Priya Hegde and Deepthi Naidu. Produced by K K Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts, the film, which has music by RR Dhruvan, is set for release on October 14. Satish Muthyala is the cinematographer for the same.
