The show, Shark Tank India has become a dinner table talk in many households in India. It continues to be a popular show on SonyLIV, despite its finale earlier last month. The makers continue to share unique pitches on the show and commentary by the sharks online, which has been grabbing several eyeballs.

One of the unforgettable pitches on the show could be recalled as Shades of Spring. The flower company from Bengaluru had appeared on the show for some investment by the sharks but had to leave empty-handed after hearing quite a mouthful from the sharks. The founders of the company, Anuj and Nidhi, who met on Anupam Mittal's Shaadi.com, managed to get some giggles and wishes from the sharks but failed to get investment. The two pitched their flower gifting business and shared about their subscription-based DIY flower box with the sharks. They claim to offer fresh exotic flowers within 48 to 72 hours.

However, when they claimed the valuation of the company is Rs 300 crore, all sharks were left shocked and back out of the deal of Rs 3 crore for 1 per cent stake. Some let them down easy, while some sounded quite harsh. Ashneer Grover said the valuation is too steep and that the founders should not fake it until they make it. He suggested that they should be more aware of the business, saying that he respects their business as it is not easy to sell products, worth Rs 9 crore in India.

Aman Gupta seems to have taken it personally and said, "Aap phool kharidte ho aur bechte ho. And you think others are fools. The valuation cannot be 300 crores and I'd be a fool to give you money for the company."

On the other hand, Vineeta Singh and Anupam Mittal let them down easy. Mittal said, "Since you have met on Shaadi.com, I am letting you down easy. I am out." He also added that he meets a couple every week who have met each other on his website Shaadi.com. Singh took out some time to understand the business model better and politely refused, saying their target audience is too niche.

Meanwhile, season one of Shark Tank India is available to stream on SonyLIV.
