Shark Tank India: Watch Vineeta Singh hilariously try to mimic Anupam Mittal

Shark Tank India offered entrepreneurs a very rare opportunity indeed- a chance to make a deal with some of the most successful and expert business minds in the country. But the show also had its fair share of moments where the sharks weren’t ‘all business’ and did not hesitate to showcase their fun and witty sides. One such moment occurred during a pitch made by food brand Nomad Food Project.

The company’s founders Advaith Siddharth and Aditya Rai, had delighted the sharks with their bacon jams and relishes. They also explained that they had veg alternatives as well, addressing Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar. Both Vineeta, SUGAR Cosmetics’ co-founder and CEO, and Namita, executive director of- Emcure Pharmaceuticals, offered the entrepreneurs a deal together. The other sharks, Lenskart co-founder and CEO Peyush Bansal, boAt co-founder and CMO Aman Gupta, MamaEarth co-founder Ghazal Alagh, BharatPe founder Ashneer Grover and Shaadi.com founder and CEO Anupam Mittal, then tried to ask the entrepreneurs questions. When Vineeta talked over the other sharks, Anupam said he couldnt figure out if she was trying to say something, or was just teasing.

To that Vineeta immediately started to mock the businessman, trying to mimic his ‘baritone’ in a very hilarious way, which left the other sharks in chuckles. Anupam took the joke in his stride, remarking that Vineeta could get better at it with a bit more practise

Eventually, the entrepreneurs were left with offers from all seven sharks. While Ghazal and Ashneer joined Vineeta and Namita in their offer, Peyush,Aman and Anupam also offered the company a deal together. The entrepreneurs decided to take the deal offered by Ghazal, Namita,Vineeta and Ashneer, whom offered Rs 40 lakhs for a stake of 20% in the company.
