Vineeta Singh, besides being one of the most respected entrepreneurial sharks of the show Shark Tank India, also happens to be the proud owner of Sugar Cosmetics, one of the most respected companies. She has mostly been in the news because of her ability to understand the pitchers on an emotional and rational level.

Vineeta Singh takes to social media to report an extremley troublesome issue

Today, Vineeta Singh took to social media and shared an extremely worrisome issue. She took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and posted ‘Been dealing with paid PR about my death & my arrest for 5 weeks. Ignored it at first, then reported to @Meta several times, filed @Mum_CyberPolice complaint but it’s not stopping. The hardest part is when folks panic & call my mom. Few of the posts are below. Any suggestions?’

"Dealing with paid PR who have been spreading fake news about...."

For the unversed, Vineeta Singh stated that she has been dealing with paid PR who have been spreading fake news about her death and also about her arrest. She added that these reports have continued to surface for the last 5 weeks.

She added that, even though she had chosen to ignore them at first, she, later, went on to report the said matter to Meta (formerly known as Facebook). In addition to that, she also reported the same to Mumbai Cyber Police.

Vineeta also highlighted the worst part about the whole thing. She stated that the worst part of dealing with such a scenario was when people start calling her mother in order to verify the news. After highlighting her ordeal, Vineeta also asked the netizens for suggestions (about how to deal with the problem/ situation).

After this tweet, Mumbai Police responded stating, ‘Ma’am, request you to DM us the details, for us to help you better’, to which, Vineeta replied, ‘We spoke. Thank you for the support so far’. Another user wrote, ‘This fooled me for a sec as well when I saw it first. Hope things sort out. I am sure you must be in touch with top level people at Meta. Let me know if you need any help! They are the only ones who can kill this at once’.
