Shark Tank India Season 3 - Deepinder Goyal advises entrepreneur to be rational, not egoistic, says ‘Thoda mindset dekhlo...’

Deepinder Goyal gives an advice to a budding entrepreneur on Shark Tank India Season 3.

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, the latest addition to the investors' panel on the entrepreneurial reality show Shark Tank India Season 3, has once again captured the internet's attention. Recently, Goyal showcased his meticulous attention to detail, earning admiration from both viewers and fellow Sharks. His keen observations came to the forefront when he noticed a critical flaw during the pitch by entrepreneurs from a fitness company called WTF – Witness the Fitness. They had presented a standee with an incorrect mobile number, featuring only nine digits instead of the standard ten. While fans of the show are still processing this noteworthy incident, the latest promotional video teases Deepinder Goyal guiding an investor on distinguishing between ego-driven decisions and rational business marketing approaches.

Watch Tejas, Expendables 4, Australian Open, Cubicles 3, and more on OTTplay, by subscribing to the Jhakaas monthly pack, which provides access to 22 OTTs at just ₹49 for the first month.

Deepinder Goyal advises entrepreneur to be rational, not egoistic

In the latest promo of the show, we see Deepinder guiding an investor on business marketing approaches in a practical-yet-stern way.

Deepinder said, “Bahut baar founders jab kuch crazy karte hai na, unke bahut saare log yeh bolte hai ki yeh mat kar yeh nahi hoga. Aur ulte side se advise milta hai prove them wrong. Jo ego hoti hai woh prove them wrong waalon ki baat manati hai. Aur woh joh rationality waali baatein karte hai... unki hum sunte nahi hai. Thoda mindset dekhlo aap yahan pe. Ego kahan pe chal rahi hai aur craziness kahan pe chal rahi hai... tum sirf prove everyone wrong kar rahe ho ya phir khud ko hee wrong kar rahe ho. (Many times, when founders do something crazy, many people say, "Don't do this, it won't work." And, on the contrary, advice comes from the other side to prove them wrong. The ego listens to those who say, "prove them wrong." And those who talk about rationality... we don't pay attention to them. Look at the mindset here. Where is the ego leading, and where is the craziness leading... Are you just proving everyone else wrong, or are you proving yourself wrong?)
